The Virtuoso 3-cell cycle alternating pressure mattress replacement systems feature zero pressure therapy and pressure elimination for accelerated healing of all grades of pressure injury irrespective of mobility.
The Virtuoso is based on a clinically proven 3-cell 7½ minute cycle, this 3-cell cycle mimics the effects of normal spontaneous movement, thereby allowing physiological processes to operate at optimum levels. Featuring a double layer of air cells which alternate synchronously within the sacral region and a special heel zone with narrower diameter cells the Virtuoso provides maximum pressure relief and enhanced protection against tissue breakdown.
The clinically proven 3-cell 7 ½ minute cycle of the Virtuoso mimics the effects of normal spontaneous movement, thereby allowing physiological processes to operate at optimum levels.
True MicroClimate Management (MCM)
The Dartex cover of the Virtuoso features true MicroClimate Management (MCM) with a Moisture Vapour Transmission Rate (MVTR) of 1028g/m2/24hr which ensures it is highly breathable to allow a vapour exchange between the top and bottom side of the cover material.
The MCM feature helps to manage the heat and humidity of a patient’s skin in order to help prevent or assist in the treatment of tissue damage related to moisture on the skin. The superior mattress design and cover ensures that air circulates under the patient body to enable air movement and moisture removal. MCM runs separately to the alternating cycle ensuring that the clinical efficacy and zero pressure therapy are maintained.
Automatic features to enhance patient care
Virtuoso has been designed with nursing staff efficiency in mind with a number of automatic features that will reduce nurse workload such as auto-adjustment to patient weight and position, Auto-Fowler Boost mode and auto-return to alternating from Max Inflate.
