Airflex TRIO

The AirFlex® Trio is a brilliant and innovative, yet cost effective, 3 cell-cycle alternating pressure air mattress designed to prevent pressure injuries in vulnerable patients at High to Very High Risk of pressure injury development.

The mattress features advanced solenoid technology to facilitate the rapid redirection of airflow which enables the effective off-loading of interface pressure on vulnerable tissue. Cell-in-cell construction improves patient comfort and safety by providing a permanently inflated base portion beneath the active alternating component of the air cell.

A comfort setting reduces internal mattress pressure for frail and underweight patients (<45 kg) and static mode provides a firm and stable surface for essential nursing procedures such as physiotherapy, wound dressing and changing bed linen. Transport mode ensures the mattress remains inflated for 8 hours in the event of a mains power failure.

Advanced engineering and a quality compressor have created a dynamic support surface that is therapeutic for patients weighing up to 220 kg.

3-cell 15 minute cycle Provides regular relief of interface pressure.
Wide diameter tubing Enables rapid air cell deflation 4 times per hour which stimulates reactive hyperaemia in the deep tissues surrounding the vulnerable bony prominences.
Cell-in-Cell technology Improves patient comfort and safety by providing a permanently inflated base portion beneath the active alternating component of the cell.
Fully automatic adjustment Automatically adjusts pressure settings in response to patient weight and position to optimise pressure relief and ensure that staff are not burdened with difficult product set-up.
Dual comfort settings Adjustable comfort control available within both Static and Dynamic modes provide nursing staff with the ability to adjust air cell inflation pressures to suit individual patient comfort or clinical requirements.
Easily accessible CPR facility Intuitive, always visible and accessible CPR release valve located on umbilical provides rapid deflation.
Timed Static mode Provides a firm and stable surface for essential nursing procedures such as physiotherapy, wound dressing and changing bed linen. A safety automatic return to Dynamic mode after 30 minutes ensures that patients are not put at risk of pressure damage.
Transport mode Ensures the mattress remains inflated for 8 hours in the event of a mains power failure.
V-Lock system Prevents accidental disconnection of the power cord.
Audible and visual alarms A sophisticated set of audible and visual alarm functions provide enhanced patient safety and ensures peace of mind.
